Job Summary

DCS Corp is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Support Specialist to provide support to the Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management Division (C3BM).

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to senior managers and members of the organizational staff, including researching and compiling information, reviewing Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) packages, and preparing written communications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level administrative support to senior executives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Handle daily administrative tasks for a group of executive professionals, including creating reports and itineraries for leadership, overseeing daily activities of the executive office area, and developing meeting agendas for executive briefings.
  • Provide administrative assistance, such as writing and editing documents, drafting memos, and preparing communications on behalf of senior executives.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records.
  • Perform minor accounting duties.
  • Organize meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary.
  • Answer phone calls in a polite and professional manner.
  • Welcome visitors and identify the purpose of their visit before directing them to the appropriate department.
  • Manage the multiple leadership calendars, including making appointments and prioritizing sensitive matters.
  • Experience keeping up with complex schedules and maintaining high-level business relationships.
  • Strong experience in time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Proactive and self-directed.
  • Interpersonal skills and professionalism.
  • Provide executive administrative support for the front office, to include schedule management, meetings logistics, general orchestration of taskers and events, etc.
  • Extremely proficient in all Microsoft applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Travel is mandatory.
Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • A High School Diploma plus 7 years of experience, an Associate degree plus 2 years or a Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A DoD Secret Security clearance is required.
Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 12 years of experience in the respective professional discipline being performed, 5 of which are in the DoD.
  • Experience with Task Management Tool (TMT).
