The Patient Experience Coordinator (PEC) operates under the guidance of the Patient Experience Department, serving as a crucial link between patients, families, visitors, and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient satisfaction. The PEC is dedicated to creating a welcoming atmosphere through exceptional engagement, assistance, proactive outreach, and effective customer service recovery.

This role involves orienting and guiding patients and their families regarding the healthcare environment, available amenities, and essential resources. Responsibilities include providing patients with relevant information about healthcare services, assisting with navigation within the facility, arranging transportation, and offering insights into local accommodations and services.

The PEC also manages the lost and found process, distributes valet vouchers, and upholds a safe and clean environment. This position actively promotes communication and problem-solving between unit staff, various departments, and patients and their families.

Job Opening Summary

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

An Associate's degree is preferred, or a minimum of three years of experience in customer service within the healthcare or related service sectors.

+ Experience should include supervisory responsibilities or leading the work of others.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in computer usage.

The ideal candidate must be results-driven, capable of teaching and mentoring others, and possess strong problem-solving abilities.

Successful completion of an FBI Level 2 screening is required for this position.

Compensation:

Minimum Pay Rate: Hourly: $13.55

Midpoint Pay Rate: Hourly: $16.18
