Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Fortune Brands. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment.
Job Summary:The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and installations on plant machinery and equipment. This includes troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical issues, inspecting and testing machinery to guarantee it's ready for production, and adhering to our safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform maintenance, repair, and installation on plant machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and fix mechanical, electrical, and equipment issues
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Inspect and test machinery before returning it to production
- Follow safety guidelines and report any issues
- High school diploma/GED and completed craft apprenticeship or training
- Knowledge of mechanical maintenance, power tools, and equipment operation
- Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
- Experience with electrical testing equipment (Meters and Meggers)
- Able to work 12-hour shifts
