We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hearthside Food Solutions. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing diversified duties including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Effectively and safely operate standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools, and basic electrical testing equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance work orders ranging from daily needs up to semi-annual PM schedules.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics in English.
- Complete minor troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical related issues without direct supervision.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations as well as other departmental policies and procedures.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Has completed or is working on a 2-year trades degree and/or 4 years of plant maintenance experience.
- Able to read, write, and speak English. Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
- Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office Suite and PM system tracking. SAP experience preferred.
- Work is primarily done on a manufacturing production floor.
- Frequent production environment exposure which includes noise, dust, moving machinery, forklifts, and fluctuations in temperatures.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
