Live-In Community Management Role
Are you a skilled residential community manager dedicated to fostering safe and well-maintained living environments? The Housing Authority of Jackson County (HAJC) is seeking a Live-In Community Manager to significantly enhance the quality of life for our residents while residing on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Management: Ensure that our properties adhere to the highest standards of care and comply with Housing Authority policies, federal regulations, and state laws.
  • Resident Engagement: Support and guide residents regarding occupancy standards, lease agreements, and maintenance procedures, empowering them to thrive in their housing programs.
  • Property Showings: Conduct property tours for potential tenants, facilitate lease signings, and ensure a seamless move-in experience.
  • Regular Inspections: Perform housing quality assessments, manage minor maintenance tasks, and instruct residents on how to submit maintenance requests.
  • Tenant Support: Proactively address tenant concerns and resolve issues, including emergencies, with empathy and professionalism, even outside of standard hours.
  • Record Keeping & Communication: Maintain precise records, manage rent collections, and document all lease-related activities promptly. Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and team members to create a supportive, team-oriented atmosphere.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Previous experience in on-site management, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Familiarity with LIHTC and proficiency in relevant software applications.
