Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrician Technician to join our team at Freedom Forever. As a key member of our residential solar installation team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to safely plan and perform electrical work for residential solar projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all electrical work is performed in a neat and workmanlike manner and compliant with all State and local codes and standards.
  • Assemble all components of a residential solar system, including electrical panels and wiring.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Interface with branch leadership to ensure compliance with electrician/labor ratios and continuing education requirements.
  • Follow OSHA, NEC, AHJ, and Utility requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work with crew members to complete all portions of Photovoltaic systems installs (PV) and ensure timely project completion.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical components and system issues to minimize downtime and maximize system efficiency.
  • Provide top-notch customer service throughout the installation process, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Upload photos and update job status in the Company database when work is complete.
  • Document work by taking pictures and completing work orders to maintain accurate records.
Qualification Requirements
  • Must have a valid Oregon Journeyman Electrician License.
  • Minimum 3 years of electrical installation and repair experience, with a strong knowledge of residential electrical services and distribution panels.
  • Must be experienced with all required hand and power tools associated with the electrical trade.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to drive a vehicle during the normal course of business, with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a driving background check.
  • Must possess and maintain a current and valid State Journeyman License/Electrician Certification for applicable state.
  • Ability to effectively manage work to achieve required timelines and meet project deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal/human relations skills, with the ability to interact with co-workers and participate in meetings.
  • Ability to read and interpret single- and three-line drawings, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
  • Ability to work safely in a branch/warehouse environment, with a strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
