Role Responsibilities: As the Clinical Pharmacy Manager, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and overseeing pharmacy clinical programs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Interpreting and verifying medication orders accurately within the pharmacy system.
  • Compounding and dispensing medications in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Monitoring drug therapy for potential interactions and ensuring appropriateness of treatment.
  • Providing clinical consultation to healthcare providers and suggesting cost-effective alternatives.
  • Maintaining the hospital formulary and promoting rational drug therapy.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary rounds and contributing to patient care discussions.
  • Developing and managing pharmacy clinical programs tailored to patient needs.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess the following:

  • A B.S. or Pharm D. from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a Pharmacy Clinical/Operations Specialist.
  • At least five years of hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
  • Active Pharmacist license in good standing.
