Key Responsibilities:
1. Interpret and comprehend internal work orders, schematics, or verbal instructions.
2. Accurately measure and verify details before cutting materials to prevent errors.
3. Maintain a standing position for extended periods.
4. Utilize personal protective equipment as per safety training guidelines.
5. Choose appropriate materials for each task, prioritizing the use of off-cuts when feasible.
6. Systematically organize off-cut materials.
7. Resize off-cuts into usable dimensions.
8. Conduct quality assurance checks on materials utilized for production.
9. Monitor, track, and report inventory levels to the Production Manager.
10. Assist in Shipping and Receiving by loading, unloading, and organizing materials and finished goods.

Equipment and Tools:

Operate cutting machinery and hand tools such as double miter saws, table saws, under-pinners, belt and disc sanders, drill presses, handheld motorized grinders, screw machine wire brushes, scrapers, files, and other relevant tools.


11. Notify the Production Manager of any material or equipment concerns.
12. Perform maintenance on tools, equipment, gauges, and materials, ensuring a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
13. Adhere to company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety regulations.
14. Complete end-of-day maintenance tasks in designated areas.
15. Clean and properly shut down equipment at the end of each day.
16. Undertake additional related tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall team effort as required.
