Food Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Food Quality Inspector to join our team at Randstad US. As a Food Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality and safety standards in our products.
Job SummaryThe Food Quality Inspector will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes, conducting inspections, and working closely with production teams to resolve quality issues. Your expertise will help us maintain the superior quality that our brand is known for.
Responsibilities- Perform thorough inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and protocols for various confectionery products.
- Monitor production processes and perform regular audits to identify and address any deviations from quality standards.
- Conduct sensory evaluations and laboratory tests to assess product quality and safety.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain detailed records of quality metrics, test results, and corrective actions.
- Prepare and present quality reports to management, including trends and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and other industry standards.
- 2 years of experience in quality control or a related field.
- Experience level: Experienced.
