Painter Job Description

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a skilled Painter to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray machines.
  • Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning dirt, oil, and grease, removing old paint and wall coverings, and filling and smoothing cracks and holes.
  • Understand the materials used to make paint and the types of paints required for different materials, such as plaster, wood, brick, and metal.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of painting techniques and materials.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
