Auto Care Sales and Marketing Manager Job Summary

The Auto Care Sales and Marketing Manager develops and expands Auto Care program adoption leading to increased NAPA parts sales for current and new customers. This role is responsible for communicating and executing Auto Care strategic initiatives, new member enrollment, program adoption, sales promotions, and program training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Presents and communicates the value proposition of the NAPA Auto Care program to prospects and customers.
  • Works closely with NAPA Auto Care HQ to provide feedback, ideas, and field insights to drive program adoption, new membership, and sales goals.
  • Hosts meetings in assigned territory to provide training on Auto Care program adoption and utilization.
  • Achieves territory quota on sales, new members, and co-branded projects.
  • Assists local sales teams in meeting management, community events, and marketing to consumers and potential new members.
  • Provides exceptional customer service and communication to all NAPA Auto Care centers in assigned territory by regularly visiting with members to assist in program adoption, understand customer needs, and present programs to address needs.
  • Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the NAPA Auto Care program and options for members.
  • Reviews NAPA Auto Care monthly initiatives with sales teams to ensure focus on program benefits.
  • Executes weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales plans to achieve business growth opportunities consistent with the Company's growth objectives.
  • Executes Auto Care sales programs and strategies to improve territory, district, and area business activities.
  • Conducts periodic account reviews to keep management updated on key progress indicators.
  • Attends and manages key events and trade shows, including NAPA Autotech market training.
  • Regularly logs into the Auto Care member site and NAPA Connect to check on new updates.
  • Ensures all members in their market have access to the member site.
  • Consistently meets or exceeds yearly targets.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of previous selling and account management experience with a solid record of success developing new business and maintaining existing business.
  • Valid driver's license with no DWI convictions within the past four years and not more than three moving violations or two at-fault accidents in the last three years.
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory, including overnight stays as required by the territory.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
  • Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools, including Qlik, PowerBI, MS Office, and CRM applications.
  • Current role for at least six months and GPC for one year before applying.
  • Last performance review reflects meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Not on a Performance Improvement Plan or with a written or final warning in the last 12 months.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent sales/marketing experience.

Physical Demands / Working Environment

  • Ability to safely and effectively operate a company vehicle for extended periods of time in various weather conditions.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use of hands, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and talk or hear.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to frequently attend events after hours and/or on weekends.
  • Travel requirements upwards of 50% at any given time.
