Front Desk Hospitality Representative

We are seeking a professional Front Desk Hospitality Representative to join our team at Hyatt House Pleasanton. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to multitask efficiently, and have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take on new challenges. As a Front Desk Hospitality Representative, you will be responsible for welcoming and registering guests, managing hotel accounts, and providing information about hotel amenities and services.
Key Responsibilities- Taking incoming calls, online and in-person room booking requests, and answering questions about guest needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests
- General bookkeeping: ensuring all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date
- Communicating with housekeeping to ensure guest rooms are ready
- Mitigating customer complaints as needed
- Welcome, register, check-in, and check-out guests staying at the hotel, provide keys and room numbers, and record credit card information
- Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations
- High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent
- Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
- 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred
The estimated annual salary for this role is $32,000 - $40,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include competitive pay, free parking, and a comprehensive training program.
