Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to enhance our client support in a post-sales capacity.

As a Technical Account Manager (TAM), you will be responsible for nurturing our existing client relationships, ensuring a seamless transition post-sale. Your role will encompass various aspects of the Information Technology sales process, including onboarding clients, conducting network assessments, and delivering technical guidance and support. You will also conduct quarterly business reviews and maintain productive relationships with clients and sales engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth consultations with IT clients at advanced technical levels on a quarterly basis.
  • Offer technical insights during the initial sales phase, presenting the components of the Maturity Model and assisting with technology roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with fellow TAMs to provide comprehensive support to our clients.
  • Draft and develop scopes of work for IT applications and hardware implementations.
  • Lead meetings and strategic planning sessions with clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and account expansion.
  • Provide training and mentorship to IT Engineers supporting over 200 Outside Sales Representatives.
  • Establish and maintain a 'trusted advisor' relationship with the IT service desk, sales teams, and clients.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of key market trends, regulations, and compliance requirements in the IT sector.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Technical Account Manager role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems.
  • Relevant certifications such as Net+, MCP, MCA, MCSE, Cloud, and Firewall.
  • Experience in IT managed services, project engineering, and technical management.
  • Strong understanding of general IT operations and service management.
  • Knowledge of risk mitigation, security, web technologies, routing, exchange, active directory, and servers.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies including AWS, email and server migration, VPN technologies, data migration, systems integration, VMware, and Hyper V.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $60,000 to $100,000, plus commission opportunities.
