Position Summary

The Internal Auditor III will primarily focus on planning and executing comprehensive audits of internal control systems and processes, ensuring compliance with the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and corporate policies. This role involves assessing the effectiveness and reliability of the company's internal control framework, documenting audit findings with appropriate evidence, and investigating any irregularities while recommending corrective actions to management. The Internal Auditor III will also prepare detailed audit reports and communicate findings to both Internal Audit and TBC management.

This position operates in a hybrid work environment. Qualified candidates should be located near our Palm Beach Gardens offices in South Florida.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to foster environments that enhance and safeguard organizational value.
  • Lead and execute specific audit assignments, including financial, operational, and compliance projects.
  • Identify business risks and evaluate processes to enhance internal controls and operational efficiency.
  • Develop audit planning documents, comprehensive audit programs, and work plans to assess management's effectiveness in achieving business objectives.
  • Organize meetings and gather relevant information through interviews and document analysis; apply appropriate auditing techniques to analyze data.
  • Draft audit findings and recommendations, discussing them with business owners and Internal Audit management.
  • Create audit presentations and prepare clear, concise reports of findings.
  • Monitor the resolution of audit findings and recommendations.
  • Lead or participate in special projects, investigations, and departmental administrative tasks as required.
  • Engage effectively with various levels of management and staff throughout the organization.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 - 5 years of audit or related experience.
  • Current professional certification (CPA/CIA/CISA) is advantageous.
  • Experience with SAP and data analytics tools such as ACL/Alteryx/Tableau/Microsoft Power BI is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Big 4 audit firms is a plus.
  • Travel requirements are less than 20%.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
