Position: Finance Analyst I
Location: Onsite Role
Duration: Temporary Position

This role requires full-time onsite presence.
Interview Process: Initial phone interview followed by an in-person meeting.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential overtime as needed and approved by a supervisor.

Job Overview:
  • Coordinate and execute various accounting functions by adhering to established processes and utilizing defined checklists.
  • Establish and maintain accounting controls and processes.
  • Manage and prioritize ongoing tasks, project assignments, and additional initiatives.
  • Assess, suggest, and implement enhancements to boost efficiency, maintain account reconciliations, and improve reconciliation controls.
  • Utilize technical accounting expertise, Excel proficiency, and General Ledger knowledge to troubleshoot issues and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate within a team-oriented environment to support departmental efficiency and standardization efforts.
Daily Responsibilities:
  • Conduct complex accounting activities, including account reviews, analyses, and journal entry preparation.
  • Handle Project Costing and Asset Management tasks as assigned.
  • Provide customer service support to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in fulfilling information requests, journal postings, and audit inquiries.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all assigned tasks.
  • Develop a foundational understanding of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance in reconciliations, record retention, and preparation of year-end closing documentation.
  • Review and adjust current processes as necessary to guarantee timely and accurate completion in line with company policies.
  • Engage in periodic team meetings and contribute to discussions.
  • Participate in cross-training with colleagues.
  • Maintain and update documentation for all managed processes.
  • Actively engage in meetings, projects, and audits as required.
Monthly Responsibilities:
  • Complete all assigned Month-End Closing tasks.
  • Create and post journal entries.
  • Ensure all system processes are completed.
  • Review and correct journal errors.
  • Prepare and distribute ad hoc reports.
  • Prepare and validate assigned account reconciliations.
Essential Skills:
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Team collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with SAP or PeopleSoft systems is advantageous.

Experience:
  • Proficient in MS Excel, including Pivot Table creation.
  • Familiarity with MS Excel macro functions is a plus.
  • Experience in a customer service environment is beneficial.
  • Basic knowledge of PeopleSoft or SAP systems is advantageous.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
