Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the accuracy of inventory records and oversee regular cycle counts.
  • Manage the flow of materials to guarantee a steady supply for production and customer demands.
  • Create a comprehensive Plan for Every Part (PFEP) that includes strategies for data management, storage solutions, and inventory replenishment.
  • Design and implement effective processes for order picking and shipping, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
  • Explore and propose technological advancements that enhance operational performance.
  • Revise warehouse layouts to optimize space and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Conduct data analysis and reporting to identify opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Utilize daily management tools for effective planning and performance evaluation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing costs and enhancing productivity.
  • Communicate clear expectations to team members and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to customer shipments and logistics.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate information flow.
  • Ensure a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management.
  • At least 6 years of direct leadership experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Proven ability to manage complex relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other analytical tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or APICS certification.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, particularly Six Sigma.
  • Familiarity with logistics systems and ERP/WMS software.
  • Prior experience with Lean Sigma principles or certification.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP systems.
