Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the accuracy of inventory and ensure that cycle counts are executed as scheduled.
  • Oversee and manage the flow of materials to guarantee sufficient supplies for production and customer demands.
  • Create a comprehensive Plan for Every Part (PFEP), which includes data management and storage strategies, warehouse layout, inter-site transfers, and production line replenishment.
  • Establish efficient processes for order picking and shipping, along with replenishing production areas.
  • Research and propose technological and automation enhancements to boost cost-effectiveness, quality, and delivery efficiency.
  • Design and implement modifications to the warehouse layout to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Conduct performance metrics reporting and data analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Utilize daily management tools for planning, tracking performance, and resolving issues.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to lower costs, enhance efficiency, and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Communicate clear expectations to team members and provide constructive feedback through coaching and performance evaluations.
  • Address and resolve issues related to customer shipments and delivery, including import/export and customs challenges.
  • Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate information flow.
  • Ensure a safe and organized work environment, adhering to established safety protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management.
  • At least 6 years of direct leadership experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Proven experience in managing complex relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other analytical tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or APICS certification.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies, particularly waste reduction techniques using Six Sigma tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Working knowledge of logistics and ERP/Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Experience with Lean Sigma principles or certification (Green Belt).
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP systems.
