KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain the accuracy of inventory records and ensure that cycle counts are conducted as scheduled.
  • Oversee the flow of materials to guarantee a consistent supply for production and customer demands.
  • Formulate a comprehensive Plan for Every Part (PFEP), focusing on data management, storage strategies, and warehouse layout optimization.
  • Design efficient processes for order picking and shipping, as well as for replenishing production lines.
  • Evaluate and propose technological advancements that enhance cost-effectiveness, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Redesign warehouse layouts to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Conduct performance metrics analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement management tools for effective planning, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing costs and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Communicate clearly with team members, providing constructive feedback and training to foster their success.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to customer shipments and logistics.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate information flow.
  • Uphold a safe and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management.
  • At least 6 years of direct leadership experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Proven ability to manage complex relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other analytical tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degree or APICS certification.
  • Expertise in continuous improvement methodologies, particularly in waste reduction techniques.
  • Familiarity with logistics systems and ERP/Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Experience with Lean Sigma practices or certifications.
  • Project management skills.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP systems.
