Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Program Coordinator, Dance. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our Department of Theatre and Dance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and coordinate community outreach programs, initiatives, and student engagement efforts within the Department of Theatre and Dance.
  • Coordinate Dance for Parkinson's teachers, student assistants, student volunteers, and community members, including schedules and invoices.
  • Manage the Zag Dance program and relationships with Zag Dance partner schools and Spokane School District.
  • Foster leadership and service opportunities for current majors and minors within the program.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director for budget and accreditation.
  • Cultivate ongoing relationships with MARCOM and the Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center Staff.
  • Assist the Dance Director in management and supervision of work study positions and students.
  • Assist faculty advisors in supervision of various clubs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience.
  • Early career, knowledge may be from education and/or some experience.
  • One (1) + years of experience in management of community outreach programming.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment.
  • Multi-tasking skills to thrive while engaging with students, faculty, and community in a front desk environment.
  • Experience with Gonzaga Dance Program.
  • Graduate Degree. MFA, MBA, ORGL, COML.
  • Proficiency in Canva, database and social media platforms strongly preferred.
