Job Summary:

This position provides leadership support for the Rising Strong program participants and staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for front desk operations, overall staff training and scheduling, facility supply tracking and inventory, holding participants accountable for following RS policies and expectations, supporting the management of volunteers and the volunteer process, and supporting the overall program implementation in partnership with the Program Manager & Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee scheduling for all staff, including managing the schedule, coordinating coverage, triaging callouts and ensuring that the program always contains the necessary staff to maintain safety guidelines.
  • Responsible for training of Rising Strong staff including policies, procedures and trauma informed communication.
  • Develop rotation of policy trainings.
  • Maintain staff documents and requirements up-to-date.
  • Support the on-boarding & training of new staff; coordinate, track and facilitate the yearly training curriculum for all existing staff, aligning with a detailed training schedule and ensuring compliance with funder and agency expectations.
  • Support staff in electronic requirements including cell phone and computer/email set up and ongoing training.
  • Coordinate meeting materials, meeting room set up, setting up phone-in capability and coordinating all daily transportation outings for Rising Strong programming.
  • Screen all visitors and residents who enter Rising Strong, ensuring that only authorized personnel are admitted.
  • Conduct bag searches for families, ensuring that all items entering the building align with program policies & procedures.
  • Receive and return phone calls and e-mail messages regarding the Rising Strong program from persons seeking services, community partners, and the public.
  • Assist in the hiring and supervision of Rising Strong staff.

  • Participates in an on-call rotation & availability to work nights and weekends is required.
