Job SummaryWe are looking for talented law students who are eager to gain hands-on experience in the field of prosecution. As a Law Clerk Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced Deputy District Attorneys and contribute to various aspects of the prosecution process.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with all aspects of prosecution, focusing on misdemeanor cases
- Audit court proceedings, research case law, and prepare motions
- Maintain accurate records and provide administrative support to the team
- Completed two years of law school and admitted to practice law by the Oregon Supreme Court pursuant to the Student Appearance Rule
- Possess or be able to obtain a valid Oregon driver's license within 30 days of hire date
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to accept directions and follow policies and procedures
- $25 per hour
- Opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of prosecution
