Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated attorney to represent the State of Oregon in Circuit Court. The ideal candidate will have experience in criminal prosecution and be able to analyze complex cases, think critically, and make sound decisions under pressure.

  • Represent the State of Oregon as a trial lawyer in the prosecution of adult and juvenile criminal actions
  • Perform case intake, including reviewing police reports and determining charges
  • Participate in crime scene investigations and assist investigators with search warrant affidavits

The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, law enforcement, and the public.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must:

  • Hold a law degree from an accredited law school and be a member in good standing with the Oregon State Bar
  • Have at least 3 years of qualifying experience in a District Attorney's Office or similar environment
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of criminal laws and procedures, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus an excellent benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
