The University of North Texas System is seeking qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool in the Department of Dance & Theatre.
This is a part-time, non-tenure track position that involves teaching a variety of courses in theatre performance, including acting, play analysis, and theatre movement.
The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Theatre and experience teaching in higher education. A terminal degree in the discipline is preferred.
The Department of Dance & Theatre offers a range of undergraduate programs, including a B.A. in Theatre and a B.A. in Theatre with concentrations in performance and design/tech.
The Adjunct Instructor will be responsible for teaching a variety of courses, including:
- Theatre Voice
- Acting Fundamentals
- Costume Design
- Theatre Makeup
- Play Analysis
- Theatre Movement
- Contemporary Chicana/o Theatre
- LGBTQ Plays & Performances
- Aesthetics
- Theatre Appreciation
