About the Role
As a School Bus Driver with First Student, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school. Our team of professional drivers is dedicated to providing exceptional service and support to our students and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition
- Provide support to students by assisting with boarding and exiting the bus
- Work collaboratively with other drivers and support staff to ensure seamless transportation operations
Requirements
- Valid driver's license for at least 3 years
- Good verbal communication skills
- At least 21 years old
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical
