Job Title: Resident Services Coordinator

Native American Youth and Family Center (NAYA) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Resident Services Coordinator to join our Housing and Stabilization Services Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting youth and families in achieving stable housing and accessing community resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outreach efforts to engage new residents and invite them to learn about NAYA's programs and services.
  • Identify service needs of residents and advocate for them to maintain successful, permanent housing.
  • Work closely with on-site property managers and maintenance technicians to ensure a positive and healthy living environment.
  • Support residents in accessing community resources and connecting them to NAYA's wraparound services.
  • Plan and facilitate on-site community-building events and activities to foster a strong, safe, and healthy community.

Requirements:

  • GED or High School Diploma required; at least 2 years of employment experience required.
  • Knowledge of underlying issues impacting homelessness and poverty required.
  • Knowledge of local community resources, emergency services, and social service agencies focused on low-income and BIPOC communities required.
  • Understanding of trauma-informed care, non-violent communication, and conflict resolution required.
  • Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), 1st Aid, and Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) required.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of $24-$25 per hour, equivalent to $50,000-$52,000 per year.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including free medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan with 6% match, paid vacation, and paid holidays.
