Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist II to join our team at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech and language disorders, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing clinical guidance to other therapists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients with complex speech and language disorders, interpreting clinical data and making informed clinical judgments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, adapting to patient needs and progress.
  • Provide clinical guidance and supervision to other Speech-Language Pathologists and therapy staff.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay current with best practices and evidence-based treatments in speech-language pathology.
Requirements
  • Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist from the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board of California.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • At least two years of professional experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, with expertise in complex patient care.
