About the Role

This part-time/per diem position will involve diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients throughout the California Bay Area. You will create personalized treatment plans, perform screenings, and educate patients and family members about speech disorders and their causes.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders
  • Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and their causes
  • Keep detailed records of patient progress and care plans
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Strong understanding of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatments
  • Excellent coaching and communication skills
  • Proficiency with computers and patient databases
