About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team at IICA Speech. As a SLPA, you will play a vital role in supporting our speech-language pathologists in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist speech-language pathologists in the conduct of client screenings, including language, articulation, and hearing assessments.
  • Implement treatment plans or protocols as directed by speech-language pathologists, ensuring the highest level of care and attention to detail.
  • Support speech-language pathologists in the remediation or development of speech and language skills, working closely with clients to achieve their goals.
  • Collect and compile data to document clients' performance and assess program quality, providing valuable insights to inform treatment decisions.
  • Perform support duties such as preparing materials, maintaining supplies, and ensuring a smooth and efficient clinical environment.
Requirements
  • Current California SLPA License
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Active listening skills, with the ability to give full attention to clients and colleagues.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
