Job Overview

Position Summary
This role is integral to the sales and operational functions within the Houston & Branches Sales department, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives. The individual will be responsible for establishing customer service goals that align with client expectations for products and services, fostering long-term business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement tactical pricing strategies that align with account volumes and profitability targets.
  • Oversee and update pricing structures and discounts within Salesforce, as well as manage customer assignments.
  • Formulate and execute daily pricing strategies to enhance sales performance.
  • Conduct training sessions for inside sales representatives on market trends, product offerings, service details, warranty information, competitive analysis, and regulatory changes.
  • Evaluate new sales opportunities and bids, providing feedback to the Branch Manager.
  • Relay customer concerns and sales updates to field representatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to address regulatory requirements or design modifications.
  • Prepare pricing for all project and MRO agreement proposals.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, particularly from EPC firms.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Skills Required

  • Proficient in Salesforce and the Customer Order Process.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong understanding of business ethics.
  • Ability to comprehend all Lamons' products and those of competitors.
  • Familiarity with the competitive landscape.
  • Understanding of production processes and product flow.
  • Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated motivational and leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as an Inside Sales Representative in the Petro-Chemical sector is preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
  • Capability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
