The Front Desk Associate plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to patients and physicians at North Carolina Retina Associates. This dynamic individual will be responsible for greeting patients, registering them according to established protocols, and ensuring accurate and up-to-date patient information.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Registration and Scheduling: Greet and register patients, schedule appointments, and collect payments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communication and Customer Service: Provide clear and concise communication to patients, physicians, and staff, ensuring a positive experience for all.
- Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the medical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, effective listening, clear verbal and written communication, problem-solving skills, and ability to master multiple software systems.
- Experience: Previous experience in a medical practice preferred, but not required.
Monday - Friday schedule, with occasional weekend clinic volunteer opportunities. Hourly pay (FLSA non-exempt, eligible for overtime).
