As we embark on a significant client project, we are establishing our operations in the USA and are in search of a QA Inspector located in the Tri-Cities region of Washington State.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated full-time QA/Quality Control Inspector specializing in Fiber Network Construction. This role involves conducting comprehensive inspections of network infrastructure in and around the Tri-Cities area for a key client.

Our QA/QC Inspectors will perform ongoing evaluations of fiber network and data center constructions (OSP), concentrating on civil engineering, cable installation, fiber splicing, safety protocols, and fiber testing assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily oversight and field reporting on construction contractors, focusing on civil engineering, cable installation, fiber splicing, safety compliance, and fiber testing assessments (Note: this position is limited to inspection and review tasks only).
  • Compile daily summary reports for clients and regional Project Managers.
  • Identify and report any delays, disruptions, or deviations from client Construction Standards during daily oversight.
  • Collaborate with project clients and contractors.
  • Review client construction standards and project timelines.
  • Adhere to project delivery schedules.
  • Participate in project kickoffs and follow QA Inspector schedules.
  • Attend project meetings and site inspections as requested by clients.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Applicants should have experience in construction environments and/or fiber or infrastructure networks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Experience with fiber network and digital infrastructure projects is preferred.
  • Familiarity with civil construction practices (e.g., trenching, boring, pit installations) is beneficial.
  • Experience in the auditing and inspection sector is advantageous but not required.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance (including OSHA) and digital infrastructure construction standards is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using online forms and IT systems.
  • Capable of interpreting basic permits to ensure compliance with construction regulations.
  • Familiarity with underground utility construction methods, including HDD, plow, jack and bore, and open trench techniques.
  • Understanding of general workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Ability to review, audit, or interpret network butterfly drawings.
  • Competent in assessing the accuracy of as-built documentation upon project completion.
  • Possession or willingness to obtain basic traffic control certifications.
  • Possession or willingness to obtain relevant OSHA certifications.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks for certain data center roles (not mandatory for all positions).
  • A valid driver's license is required.

Compensation

  • Competitive wage and benefits packages will be provided, commensurate with the applicant's experience. This position may also be available as a fixed-term contract with various options.
