Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile statistical information to track project progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct risk management inspections to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Stormwater Coordinator to ensure compliance with stormwater management regulations.
  • Assist with the development of stormwater management plans and inspect existing SWPPP citywide for compliance.
  • Investigate complaints and make recommendations to improve project outcomes.
Requirements:

Education and Experience:
High school graduation, plus two years of specialized training in engineering methods and practices. Two years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of civil engineering practices, ability to communicate effectively, interpret plans, and develop relationships. Ability to handle a variety of physical activities and travel frequently.

Special Qualifications:
Must have a valid Utah driver's license. Certification as Public Works Inspector is preferred.

Work Environment:
Frequent physical activity required. Mental application includes memory, emotional stability, and analytical thinking. Regular travel expected.
