Job Title: Director - Global Biopharma Business Development Lead

Caris Life Sciences is seeking a seasoned business development professional to join its team as a Director - Global Biopharma Business Development Lead. This role will be responsible for driving business growth and partnerships with biopharma companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage expertise in genomics, diagnostics, data, and drug development to build robust business channels.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to promote the Caris business portfolio and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Generate leads, develop presentations and proposals, negotiate terms, and manage partner relationships.
  • Drive revenue growth and collaboration opportunities with existing and prospective partners.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in biopharma or business development roles.
  • Proven business development track record with experience in diligences and complex organization-wide efforts.
  • Experience as the external face of the organization, leading and participating in BD partnering events.
  • Strong knowledge of research and development business processes within biopharma.
  • Deep understanding of oncology products, lab services, therapeutic assets, bioinformatics, real-world data, and clinical trial enrollment related products/services.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA and/or MD or Ph.D. strongly preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, independent, self-determined, strategic thinking, and high intellect.
