About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to join our Corporate Accounts Receivable team at Cincinnati Insurance Company, Inc.

As an Accounting Professional, you will be responsible for assisting a team of accounting professionals in daily and monthly accounts receivable processing and reporting for our property and casualty companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate transactions from multiple billing applications to ensure accuracy and consistency with financial reporting software.
  • Perform financial analyses and support accounting processes to ensure compliance with Insurance Accounting rules and payment regulations.
  • Prepare daily and monthly accounting entries and validate banking transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct testing and validation of system change requests to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Perform bad debt analysis and account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Participate in accounting and enterprise-level projects that support the company in maintaining its competitive edge.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 0 to 2+ years of Accounting experience or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Previous accounting-related internship experience is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to learn and use accounting and analytical software systems.
  • Effective use of Microsoft Excel.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively without hesitation to ask questions.
  • Demonstrated aptitude to lead and embrace change.
What We Offer

Cincinnati Insurance Company, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $65,000 annually for the Associate Accountant position and $65,000 - $70,000 annually for the Accountant position, based on education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
