We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator. This role is responsible for managing all shipping and receiving activities within our company and farm locations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain accurate records of all goods shipped and received
- Unload shipments as necessary and route goods to designated storage areas
- Inspect the quality of goods upon receipt and ensure proper paperwork
- Organize storage areas daily to maintain a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) inventory system
- Pick and pack finished products for customer orders
- Develop and print shipping labels for outgoing products
- Determine the most efficient method of shipment and prepare necessary documents
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery
- Manage inventory and organization within storage areas to ensure safety and accountability
- Operate machinery, such as forklifts and box trucks, as needed
- Experience with box truck and forklift operation or willingness to learn
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and operate machinery safely
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a DOT physical
- Basic computer proficiency and strong communication skills
