Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator. This role is responsible for managing all shipping and receiving activities within our company and farm locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of all goods shipped and received
  • Unload shipments as necessary and route goods to designated storage areas
  • Inspect the quality of goods upon receipt and ensure proper paperwork
  • Organize storage areas daily to maintain a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) inventory system
  • Pick and pack finished products for customer orders
  • Develop and print shipping labels for outgoing products
  • Determine the most efficient method of shipment and prepare necessary documents
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery
  • Manage inventory and organization within storage areas to ensure safety and accountability
  • Operate machinery, such as forklifts and box trucks, as needed
Requirements
  • Experience with box truck and forklift operation or willingness to learn
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and operate machinery safely
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a DOT physical
  • Basic computer proficiency and strong communication skills
