About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Culinary Lead to join our team at CAVA - Downtown Crossing. As a Culinary Lead, you will be responsible for leading and developing the grill and prep teams, ensuring the highest quality of food and service, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the grill and prep teams to achieve exceptional food quality and presentation.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance team performance and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, and ensure a smooth transition between shifts.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a culinary leadership role, with a strong track record of coaching and developing team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a dynamic kitchen environment.
