About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Culinary Lead to join our team at CAVA - Alexandria - Kingstowne. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading and developing the grill and prep teams, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the grill and prep teams, providing coaching and guidance to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Be responsible for opening or closing the restaurant, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Learn and implement basic food and beverage management practices, including ordering and inventory organization.
  • Develop new leadership skills to lead the team and drive results.
  • Assist with any additional duties assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of coaching and developing team members.
  • Ability to cross-train across the restaurant to ensure rapid growth.
  • May stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend and reach overhead often.
  • Must possess dexterity to handle tongs, pots/pans, and other equipment.
