About the Role

Cognizant's Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security Services Practice (CIS) is seeking a highly skilled Endpoint Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for managing endpoint security across the enterprise, working with a highly skilled team of Cyber Security Engineers, and assisting in the designing, planning, testing, and implementation phases of cybersecurity technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Endpoint Security Management: Manage Tanium coverage on endpoints across the enterprise, ensuring seamless security and compliance.
  • Design and Implementation: Assist in designing, planning, testing, and implementing cybersecurity technologies, including threat modeling, static application security testing, software composition analysis, dynamic application security testing, and penetration testing.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support for information security technologies, including problem analysis and resolution, and explain and interpret complex, difficult, or sensitive information.
  • Project Leadership: Lead small cybersecurity projects with manageable risks and resource requirements, playing significant roles in larger, more complex initiatives.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of experience managing endpoints with Tanium.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in security monitoring, endpoint security management, systems engineering, or administration, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Skills: In-depth knowledge of applied enterprise information security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, network operating systems, identity management, database activity monitoring, encryption, content filtering, and EDR.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in planning and managing IT projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and six years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • ServiceNow Experience: Experience using ServiceNow for CMDB, Incident management, and service requests.
  • Industry Experience: Banking or financial services experience.
  • Certifications: CISSP or other security certifications are a plus.
