Field Manager in Training

The Field Manager in Training will support the general manager in overseeing all sales and operational functions at their designated location. This role is accountable for ensuring the profitability of the organization while adhering to company policies. Key responsibilities encompass six (6) primary areas:

  • Marketing: Attracting customers to the Home Center.
  • Sales Management: Overseeing all sales activities at the center.
  • Insurance: Securing suitable insurance options for customers.
  • Operations Oversight: Managing all business operations.
  • Team Leadership: Handling all aspects related to team members.
  • Service Coordination: Overseeing setup, delivery, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Ensures compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Develops and mentors team members to foster company growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for personal sales performance.
  • Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring all team members at the Home Center.
  • Formulates marketing strategies, including advertising, local promotions, and merchandising.
  • Maintains the cleanliness and upkeep of the Home Center property.
  • Manages sales activities for all sales professionals using Prospector.
  • Ensures all sales professionals complete the 'Sales 101' training program.
  • Conducts weekly sales meetings.
  • Regularly reviews and manages the P&L statement.
  • Develops and implements a comprehensive expense control strategy.
  • Orders and oversees all inventory at the sales center.
  • Processes vendor payments through the online PO system.
  • Manages team member-related tasks, including scheduling, payroll, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensures fair and consistent administration of company policies and procedures.
  • Oversees the foreclosure process and manages the re-marketing of foreclosed inventory.
  • Coordinates all service, setup, and delivery operations.
  • Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Participates in resolving customer complaints and disputes.
  • Develops an annual business plan.
  • Sets goals with the team to achieve the business plan.
  • Exhibits a cooperative and collaborative spirit, eager to assist with various duties as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong business insight.
  • Consistent work history.
  • Ability to pass both criminal background and drug screenings.
  • A four-year college degree is preferred.

Compensation:

  • Annual base salary of $40,000.
