We are currently in search of a dedicated and detail-oriented Fundraising Operations Associate to support our Development Department. Reporting directly to the Development Operations Manager, this role is essential in providing administrative assistance and fostering both internal and external relationships to enhance our dynamic giving program. The selected candidate will also play a key role in implementing improved processes for effective data management, analysis, and relationship cultivation. This position is a full-time hybrid role.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to establish a robust career in development within a prestigious organization, collaborating with a passionate team focused on fundraising excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support for the Development Department
- Enhance and document workflows and systems to boost the overall productivity of the Development team.
- Work alongside Artistic staff to coordinate donor visits and deliver high-level benefits to key supporters, including arranging exclusive visits and identifying prospecting opportunities.
- Ensure accurate donor listings for theater programs, websites, and other promotional materials.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Chief Development Officer, including organizing meetings and securing meeting spaces as required.
- Act as a liaison for the Boston Ballet Volunteer Association (BBVA).
- Compile endowment, scholarship, and other stewardship reports, as well as draft correspondence and prepare departmental mailings as needed.
Support for EVW Visionaries' Circle & Major Gifts
- Assist the Director of Major Gifts with administrative tasks, including managing calendars, donor communications, and data tracking.
- Contribute to the management and execution of special projects and stewardship initiatives for the EVW Visionaries' Circle.
- Update the fundraising database with current biographical information, relationship details, and contact notes.
Support for Special Events and Experiences
- Prepare and manage event invitation lists, RSVP forms, and event data within Tessitura.
- Conduct research on attendees for high-profile events.
- Assist with event execution throughout the season, serving as a staff representative on-site and during planning as necessary.
- Represent Boston Ballet during theater productions, staffing the VIP Lounge at least twice per performance.
