Who is the Strategic Marketing Lead?


You are passionate about marketing. Your expertise lies in transforming a client's vision, overarching strategy, and critical insights into a comprehensive and effective marketing plan that utilizes these strategic elements.

  • If developing integrated marketing strategies is not your forte, this position may not be suitable for you.

You will also participate in high-level client presentations and new business proposals, showcasing your exceptional marketing strategies and ensuring client alignment and approval.

Your background includes a proven history of successful campaigns that deliver measurable results, along with extensive experience that informs your perspective. You are equally adept at developing activation plans and implementing reactivation strategies.

With a strong combination of analytical, creative, marketing, and leadership skills, you have the confidence to build, present, defend, execute, and refine comprehensive marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Plan Development

  • Design, present, and implement integrated marketing strategies that align with client goals and foster business growth.
  • Coordinate across various marketing channels (digital, traditional, social media, events, etc.) to create cohesive and impactful campaigns.
  • Leverage consumer insights and analytics to guide tactical decisions and enhance marketing efforts.

Campaign Oversight

  • Manage the planning, development, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns from inception to completion.
  • Ensure all campaigns are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Oversee the integration of various marketing disciplines, including advertising, public relations, digital, and events.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance using various analytics tools.
  • Generate reports and insights to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
  • Adjust strategies based on performance data to optimize outcomes.

SEO Strategy Management

  • Lead the development and execution of SEO strategies to enhance organic search performance.
  • Utilize analytical tools to track and report on SEO performance, ensuring ongoing improvement.
  • Incorporate SEO best practices into content development and website management.

Team Leadership and Innovation

  • Guide and mentor a team of marketing professionals, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Provide support and direction to team members, ensuring professional growth and high performance.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation by fostering the exploration of new ideas and methodologies.

Loyalty Program Development (experience preferred but not required)

  • Design and implement effective customer loyalty initiatives to enhance retention and engagement.
  • Analyze customer data to identify trends that inform loyalty marketing strategies.
  • Monitor and assess loyalty program performance, making necessary adjustments to improve results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure loyalty programs are integrated into broader marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of integrated marketing experience in an agency setting, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Experience in a managerial or team lead role within an integrated marketing department.
  • Comfortable in a 'manager-doer' capacity, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.
  • High level of technical proficiency with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong understanding of client reactivation and engagement strategies.
  • Proficient in data analysis and performance measurement, with the ability to interpret data to inform decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and an innovative mindset.
  • Detail-oriented, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
