Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to inquiries from members, clients, and providers through various communication channels, ensuring professionalism and clarity.
  • Provide accurate information regarding eligibility, benefits, claims status, and payment details.
  • Identify the reasons for calls and deliver appropriate solutions to inquiries and complaints within established guidelines.
  • Assist callers with grievance and claims appeal processes as needed.
  • Document all relevant information in the customer relationship management system to maintain accurate records.
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements and quality standards set for the position.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and expectations.
  • Process and adjust claims as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

Requirements:
  • Ability to work an assigned eight-hour schedule, with flexibility in start and end times.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Two years of customer service experience in a business setting, ideally within a call center for Medicare and/or Medicaid.
  • Proficient in personal computers and software applications.
  • Successful completion of customer service assessments as specified.
