Job Description
  The Pediatric Policy Coordinator will assist the Director, Federal Advocacy, in developing and implementing policy strategies on AAP legislative and regulatory priorities. This role involves drafting written materials to Congress, regulatory agencies, and AAP committees, as well as representing the AAP at meetings with various interest groups, task forces, and child and health care coalitions. Key qualifications include excellent organizational, interpersonal, critical thinking, negotiation, prioritization, and verbal/written communication skills, as well as substantive knowledge of federal legislative and regulatory processes. A bachelor's degree in a related field is required. Estimated salary range for this position is $68,385.77 - $72,185.10.
