About the Role:

The Patient Intake Coordinator at Nightlight Pediatric Urgent Care is responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience from check-in to check-out. This includes collecting co-pays, posting payments, scheduling appointments, and answering calls in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain patient call-in and wait lists
  • Collect and enter patient demographics and insurance information
  • Verify patient insurance and coverage
  • Receive patient co-pays, deductibles, and payments
  • Ensure critical billing information and payments are collected prior to check-out

Requirements:

  • 2 years of medical receptionist experience
  • 2 years of insurance and benefits verification experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current CPR certificate, preferred
  • Experience in scheduling patients

Work Schedule:

  • Full Time: 4 shifts per week
  • Part Time: 2-3 shifts per week
  • PRN: Minimum of 3 shifts per month (2 weekend days)
