Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Representative to join our team at Houston Methodist. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient check-in and check-out functions, ensuring accurate and timely registration and scheduling.
  • Coordinate patient flow, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for patients and families.
  • Assist with front-end revenue cycle duties, including charge entry, registration, and insurance verification.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to resolve access and quality service matters.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of healthcare or related experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in word processing applications and electronic medical records.
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and ability to analyze and solve problems.
