Business Development Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Identify divisional customer targets and develop a process to maintain visibility.

Build relationships with decision-makers to foster future business opportunities.

Develop future profitable sales by matching new business opportunities with current service capacity.

Maximize the GFS value proposition and understand key players, applications, requirements, and trends within the foodservice industry.

Utilize contact management pipeline software solutions to update team members on status and activities.

Create steady growth aligned with the organization and GFS distribution network planning.

Collaboration and Reporting:

Collaborate with key decision-makers and executives of accounts and prospective accounts.

Onboard and transfer customer relationships to proper sales representatives for ongoing maintenance.

Report monthly to the leadership team regarding current and potential customer activities and developments.

Requirements:

Strong negotiation, customer service focus, strategic thinking, inquisitiveness, innovation, and creativity.

Ability to travel to different locations.
