Position Overview

The Detroit Medical Center is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator specializing in Med Surg to join our dedicated healthcare team.

Role Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

As a Clinical Coordinator, you will:

  1. Lead and support nursing staff, ensuring effective care delivery.
  2. Assist in scheduling and assigning staff, prioritizing patient care needs.
  3. Evaluate the quality of care provided by nursing personnel.
  4. Participate in process improvement initiatives and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
  5. Contribute to staff performance evaluations and educational requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree/Diploma required; BSN preferred.
  • Current RN license in the state of Michigan.
  • 1-2 years of progressive nursing experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
