Job Summary:

This position is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for Upstate University Hospital. The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to the Office Manager and serve as the "Superuser" for all aspects of scanning and training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain AHO, EMR, Epic, and Chartmax systems
  • Provide medical records support to the Office Manager
  • Train staff on scanning and other medical records-related tasks
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment and computer programs
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified in Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
