Job Summary:

Green Lantern Pizza is seeking a motivated and team-oriented Shift Manager to provide excellent service in a high-paced pizza restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of restaurant operations and be able to lead a team to achieve company objectives in service, quality, and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in opening and closing the store, ensuring all team members are trained to execute food quality consistency and meet company labor cost, cleanliness, and efficiency standards.
  • Ensure all food and products are prepared and served according to Green Lantern's recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
  • Make on-the-spot organizational decisions to ensure high-quality service and performance standards.
  • Handle guest issues and complaints, gathering customer feedback to share with team members and upper management.
  • Ensure all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition, following Daily Operations Procedures.
  • Ensure team members are compliant with attendance, uniforms, station clean-ups, and closing procedures.
  • Administer prompt, fair, and consistent corrective action for any violations of company policies, rules, and procedures.
  • Provide advice and suggestions to Management or Ownership.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • At least three years of restaurant operations and/or shift management experience.
  • Knowledge of service and food and beverage operations.
  • Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register or POS system.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
