Sales Director for K-12 Education

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director for K-12 Education to join our team in Tennessee and Kentucky. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for representing our brand by selling our products, services, and full solutions to new and existing customers in the K-12 education environment. You will utilize various mediums such as phone, email, social media, and in-person engagements to reach out to potential leads. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
The successful candidate will consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets. This includes preparing and delivering sales presentations, meeting with key decision makers, developing a sales pipeline for 3 times their monthly sales target, and working with their Account Executive to develop acquisition plans for new customers. Additionally, they will upsell and cross-sell our existing customers with new products and services, and work with the marketing department to implement and track ROI of local marketing events in their sales territory.
This role requires 2-3 years of field sales experience, preferably in the educational technology sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to create and maintain strong business relationships with all levels of customer organization. They must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment, possessing excellent organization, time management, and presentation skills. Decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills are essential, along with expertise in CRM software solutions and strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Travel is required, as the successful candidate will need to visit clients within Tennessee/Kentucky to ensure face-to-face contact with prospects.
